Adhering to our Community Guidelines ensures that the fairness and integrity of our fantasy sports competitions are maintained. As our business grows, we will continue to develop our Community Guidelines to ensure our players have a world-class daily fantasy experience. We encourage players to talk and strategize with their friends and other fantasy sports players about their competitions and rosters, but it's important to keep a few simple rules in mind.
Social behaviors that are a natural part of fantastic sports.
Behavior in a group game to gain an unfair advantage over others.
Discuss roster building strategies, stats and the quality of your picks, in public or in private.
- Example A:Group chat with other friends who play DraftKings to discuss the players you think will perform well in today's games.
- Example B:You work closely with a friend to build the perfect team together.
Build teams from complementary lineups that are used to work together AND execute a strategy that can create an unfair advantage over individual play.
- Example A:You and 2 of your friends coordinate the composition of the compositions you create AND coordinate the competitions you enter with their help.
- Example B:You and a bunch of friends work together in the NFL to develop different QBs and WRs to make sure they don't compete so directly with each other.
Use predictions, written or video tips, or roster tools from third-party fantasy sports sites to help create rosters.
- Example A:Sign up to a fantasy gaming screening site and use their "squad optimizer" to build teams using your predictions.
- Example B:Watch a live show on your favorite fantasy content site where the hosts share some of their favorite plays from the night.

DraftKings actively monitors and investigates user behavior that may affect the integrity of fantasy sports competitions in order to maintain the safe, fair and competitive nature of our competitions that you have come to know and love. Consequences for violating these guidelines vary depending on the severity of the violation and the player's history.
